Students who plan on attending an Oregon university must demonstrate proficiency in a second language by completing two years of the same language in high school with a grade of C- or better, or P (pass). As you plan your schedules for next year, please consider Spanish. Remember, it only gets harder to fit into your schedule!
North Valley students have the opportunity to take up to three years of Spanish. Students in 3rd year Spanish are eligible to earn college credit through Southern Oregon University (SOU) by completing an Oral Proficiency Interview by Computer (OPIc) and a written proficiency exam at SOU.
